Poem#6: Want me

When the time comes you need me,

When the time comes you feed me

No more lies,

I won’t be there.

When the time comes you love me,

When the time comes you want me,

I won’t care.

I’m just hanging on until you

Want me as much as I want you.

I’m hanging on ‘til I can do

What you do to me.

I tell myself I don’t need you,

I tell myself I won’t feed you

When you want me like I want you.

I tell myself your lies

Won’t make me hide

How much you hurt me this time.

I’m lying.

I’m just hanging on until you

Want me as much as I want you

I’m hanging on ‘til I can do

What you do to me.
