Poem#14: This sense

This sense I have of you,

This feeling won’t let me go through

The day without knowing you

Are not alone.

This feeling in my heart, you see,

This devilish knowing I will be

Alone once more because you keep

Secrets from me.

Tell her, I’m not alone.

Tell her that we own

Moments we shared she will never see.

Tell her, I need you now.

Tell her about our vows,

Or don’t tell any more lies to me.

I know you see her.

I smell your face,

The lies you tell.

You can’t embrace.

Your heart, you see

Remains faithful to me.

I know you hate yourself inside.

I know you hate, can’t stop the lies.

I know she’s feeling by our side

Alone.

Tell her, I’m not alone.

Tell her that we own

Moments we shared she will never see.

Tell her, I need you now.

Tell her about our vows,

Or don’t tell any more lies to me.

This is your last chance, my sweet.

Let me find no more evidence before I see

You come to me on your knees, not alone.

Let her face be there with you,

Let me see you release her in your truth.

Tell me, “She’s gone,” or say goodbye to me.

Tell her, I’m not alone.

Tell her that we own

Moments we shared she will never see.

Tell her, I need you now.

Tell her about our vows,

Or don’t tell any more lies to me.
