Poem#15: Wish You Were Here

“I love you,”

You say to me.

I love you,

And I see

You on a screen

Far away from me.

Wish you were here,

Baby.

Wish you were near,

Baby.

Maybe

I’ll be seeing you soon.

You’re off

Doing what you do.

I’m here

Loving you,

And I need you,

Baby.

Wish you were here,

Baby.

Wish you were near,

Baby.

Maybe

I’ll be seeing you soon.
